Wednesday Evening Online Support Group
Led by Sabrina
ANAD’s longest serving program is our eating disorder, self-help support groups. Self-help group support can help tremendously when someone is suffering with an eating disorder because it allows them to share what they are feeling and thinking in a safe, non-threatening environment where they will not be judged for having an eating disorder. Caring, community support can help replace eating disorders.
“As someone who struggled with a severe eating disorder in my early teens and was able to move forward into living a full, happy life in long-term recovery, I am passionate about helping others along their journey into recovery and supporting each other through these particularly challenging times. My intention is to help create a safe space for honest, open-minded conversations in the hopes of fostering shared growth, learning and progress towards living long, healthy lives as a community. I am an enthusiastic and welcoming individual open to working and connecting with any and everyone that is open to doing so with me. I look forward to having you join our group! ” – Sabrina, ANAD Support Group Leader
