Center for Discovery provides in-person and virtual eating disorder treatment at the Residential, PHP and IOP LOC in 11 states for adolescents and adults.
Our treatment is grounded in a polyvagal-informed approach focused on increasing patient’s window of tolerance through family involvement, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills building, and targeted exposure work. Flexibility and patient input are central in this anti-diet treatment approach that acknowledges food trauma and its impact on the whole body. Our dietary work is rooted in exposure therapy, such as hands on food preparation, aiding in healing relationships with food and body.
After treating patients for over 25 years, our outcomes speak for themselves- 86% of patients who achieve their Target Body Weight (TBW) maintain their weight goals, 97% reduced their purging behaviors, and 99% reported a reduction in binge episodes after attending our programs. We are in network with most major insurance companies.
