This isn’t your typical kind of eating disorder treatment. Arise was founded by people who have lived with eating disorders, trauma, and mental health conditions like anxiety and depression themselves — and want to make sure that everyone has access to effective, inclusive care. We've brought together a diverse team of community and clinical providers who are all here to support YOU in what healing looks like for your life. We take time to get to know you first, hear your goals, and build a personalized care plan to support your healing. Our program is fully virtual and personalized, so that we make sure that it fits into your life and actually works for you. Our diverse teams include peer mentors (we call them "Care Advocates," therapists, dietitians, psychiatrists, and physicians) who have extensive experience working with people from many different communities and specialize in eating disorders and all the mental health conditions that often come alongside them. We're all here for you!

Treatment Models

We take a holistic approach to eating disorder care — working with you on challenges around food, body image, and mental health. You'll have a designated Care Advocate for peer support and coaching, group support, regular sessions with a therapist and dietitian, and check-ins with a psychiatrist and physician as needed. As we take a person-centered approach to care, that means we'll actually take the time to get to know you and your goals for care. Your care team will work with you on an individualized care plan that reflects these goals and includes the right care for you. Our team is trained on trauma-informed, culturally sensitive care and is skilled in multiple modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), interpersonal therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, and other evidence-based methods. We'll work with you to ensure you have the right care for your needs — because what matters most is making sure that you're supported along your recovery journey.

We firmly believe that people of all backgrounds and identities should have the chance to heal. Currently, we are seeing people 18+ and will be adding on care for teens later this year. Our care is inclusive and specifically designed by and for people who represent historically underserved communities — including BIPOC, people who identify as LGBTQ+, those who live in larger bodies, men and boys, those who are neurodiverse, and others.

Co-Occurring Disorder Specialties

Anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, PTSD, substance use disorder, other mood disorders, OCD, and other needs. Our multidisciplinary care team is specifically set up to ensure we can deliver holistic care that addresses your needs together.
