Wednesday Online Support Group
Led by Emma
This online support group is currently full.
ANAD’s longest serving program is our eating disorder, self-help support groups. Self-help group support can help tremendously when someone is suffering with an eating disorder, because it allows them to share what they are feeling and thinking in a safe, non-threatening environment where they will not be judged for having an eating disorder. Caring, community support can help replace eating disorders.
This weekly, virtual support group is free and confidential and is open to anybody 17 and older struggling with an eating disorder. It is led by Emma, who works as a both a Counselor and a neurophysiology research assistant (studying implications of mindfulness on empathy). Contact for a link to the video conference and sign on information.
