Eating Disorder Screening

Students can receive medical COPE (Coalition for Overcoming Problem Eating/Exercise) evaluations at the IU Health Center that includes a physical examination, lab work and screenings.

COPE Program – Coalition for Overcoming Problem Eating/exercise – IU has a separate treatment team that includes the counseling center to help those with eating disorders.

On-Campus Medical Staff

Students can receive medical evaluations at the IU Health Center that includes a physical examination, lab work and screenings. Psychiatric treatment and medication management is also available for those a part of the COPE Program with the COPE team.

Programming for Athletes

U Varsity Student Athletes have access to the COPE Program and can receive assistance with medical management, counseling, and meal planning. 

There are also fitness and wellness staff available for fitness assessment and monitoring of healthy behaviors through Campus Recreation Sports.
