Looking for Help with Support Groups?
The helpline is not able to offer technical support, and cannot help you get into support groups. See below for more information:
- No one can send you the direct link to join; you must register monthly for some or all of the month’s groups.
- You must register for groups at least four hours beforehand in order to attend.
- If you’ve attended before, look for an email from with the link to register (there will be one per group). That is sent monthly.
- If you’re getting ready to join for the first time, fill out the form on this page to get started. Within 5-minutes, you will receive an email to register. Don’t see it? Check your spam!
- Once you complete the registration process via the email we send, you’ll get an email with the link to join 15 minutes before group begins. Those come from

ANAD’s free, eating disorders Helpline is available to provide emotional support and referrals. Call us for any of the following reasons:
- You are navigating a difficult relationship with food or your body.
- You are concerned about a friend, family member, or loved one.
- You are looking for treatment options that fit your specific needs.
- You need a listening ear, encouragement, or a reminder that you aren’t alone.
- You have questions about how eating disorders look and feel.

Request a Treatment Referral
ANAD provides referrals via email to professional eating disorder treatment providers within the U.S. This is a peer-led service, meaning our referrals are not made by clinicians or mental health professionals.
Online requests can be made by filling out a treatment referral request form. Please allow 7-10 business days for a response to your request.
