Anna Lamden

MA, MS, LCPC

Anna Lamden is a psychotherapist and co-founder of Locus Therapy Center LLC in downtown Chicago. Prior to her work at Locus Therapy Center, she spent several years providing psychotherapy and counseling to adolescents and adults struggling with eating disorders and co-morbid conditions. In addition to Anna’s clinical and academic experience, she believes that her personal journey recovering from an eating disorder has deepened her capacity to be empathetic, non-judgmental, and authentically connect with her clients.

She feels that psychotherapy should be a collaborative and supportive partnership, one that is designed to help change old, unproductive and isolating behaviors into new, more effective and fulfilling life patterns. Her approach is integrative and holistic and draws from a blend of dialectical and cognitive behavioral, humanistic, insight-oriented, and psychodynamic therapies. Anna has a close working relationship with higher-level-of-care facilities nearby and dietitians.
