Linden Oaks is a leading provider in the treatment of eating disorders offering programs for adults and adolescents in the inpatient and outpatient setting. By providing treatment at these different levels, were able to meet our patients where they’re at in their individual recovery journey.
Our program consists of both individual and family therapy sessions, group therapy, and psycho-education groups. Engaging in groups allows our patients to receive support from other patients and process life experiences. The psycho educational groups provide the foundation for their recovery and cover topics like nutrition, self-image, medication education and mindfulness. During the treatment of an eating disorder, underlying mental health issues such as anxiety and depression are often discovered. The ability to be flexible in treatment plan allows us to treat the whole person and offer healing from not only their eating disorder, but from whatever they may be struggling with. We understand that recovery is a lifelong journey and receiving support after discharge is the key to long-term success.
Your treatment team will collaborate and ensure that your discharge plan will meet your individual needs. It is our commitment to ensure our patients have all the tools and resources they need to be successful in their recovery. Both physical and mental health is vital for long-term recovery. At Linden Oaks, we provide our patients with the tools and resources they need to manage their nutrition safely. We want to ensure that your meal plan will meet your individual needs. All of our patients will have one on one sessions with a registered dietitian to incorporate a meal plan that will enable them to progress into normalized eating patterns. The topic of nutrition is stressful for anyone experiencing an eating disorder, rest assured that you’ll have support at meal times to encourage and support you.
After contacting our Assessment and Referral Center, our representatives will screen the individual and collect collateral information including labs. Our representatives will then schedule an in person free and confidential assessment which typically takes 1.5-2 hours in which we will take a medical history, psychiatric history and collect collateral information.
